Lawyers for Human Rights is inviting applications from law students and graduates with an interest in human rights law and public interest litigation to apply for the volunteer internship programme in the Land and Housing Programme. The Land and Housing Programme's work is concentrated on the advancement of land, housing, and property rights of the poor, marginalised and historically disadvantaged individuals and communities living in South Africa.

Requirements:

• penultimate or final year law students
• LLB graduates
• valid drivers’ license
• available for a minimum of three months

Skills and attributes:

• proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word and Excel)
• legal research and writing skills
• solid communication skills
• adaptability and willingness to learn
